Product description
The 556 converter controls turbidity in a variety of industrial applications while providing continuous inline, real-time measurements. The 556 can be configured in ppm, FTU, or EBC based on the customer’s specific factory calibration.
To match your specific process parameters, the 556 has four fixed measuring ranges and one variable measuring range. A LED indicator displays the percentage of the selected measuring range. When wired to the plant’s process control system, the 556 converter provides two independent setpoints and a 0/4-20 mA output for alarms and real-time process monitoring. For remote sensing of lamp or power failure, an additional fail-safe relay output is built in to the converter. Combined with an optek high-precision scattered light turbidity meter TF56, the 556 Converter is a cost-saving measuring system that provides reliable and repeatable measurements throughout your process.
