FILTRO FPP 007

A nutsche filter is used for pressure filtration, product washing (by reslurry or displacement), discharge, and where necessary, CIP wash.

FILTRO is made up of:

- A cylindrical-shaped pressurized container with a vertical axis.  A cover with a convex top and flat bottom.

- A filtrating septum on top of the flat bottom.  The septum is usually made of fabric, a single layer metallic weave, or in a sintered multilayer.

- An agitator, that rotates in both directions and moves axially.  To ensure a perfect seal for the rotation, it utilizes a double mechanical seal, and the seal for the axial movement is obtained with a multilayered metallic bellows.

- A side solid discharge hatch made of a circular plug mounted flush to the interior wall of the container.

The equipment is supplied complete with components that provide for all movements (hydraulic power pack and electrical panel) and safety (automation control panel and operator interface).

The equipment can be built in a chemical of pharmaceutical version.  For the pharmaceutical version 3V COGEIM can provide solutions that allow installation in a white or sterile room.
