Product description

Engineered for superior performance in haze (turbidity) measurements, the Haze Control is a powerful photometric converter designed for advanced process monitoring and control with the optek DTF16 (11°/90 ° scattered light) and the optek AF16-N or AS16-N (NIR absorption).

The simple, menu-based software is easy to use and configure. Software features include adjustable signal damping, 16 linearization and calibration tables, and advanced calculation capabilities. Included in the remote process control functions are product switching, ranging, remote zero and hold. Absorbance, transmittance, and concentration can be shown in the configurable graphic display, all in real-time and in any desired unit of measure such as CU, AU, %, ppm, ASBC/FTU, EBC, and g/L.

Additionally, the Haze Control displays process data in multiple formats such as text, bar graphs or trend values.

For quality assurance and plant control records, an integrated data logger can capture vital process information. The data obtained is easily transferable to a PC via a RS-232 port.

The Haze Control provides multiple analog and relay outputs for direct measurement and control, accepting analog and discrete inputs from other process control instruments.
