Product description
Our horizontal peeler centrifuges type ProCent are working continuously and fully automatical. The first operation step is the filling of the centrifuge. In this process the centrifuge basket will be filled with slurry out of the input tank by the filling valve after acceleration onto feeding speed. It is the aim, to reach a possible uniform low unbalance distribution of the slurry. The feeding speed will be production-technically adjusted in such way, that solid bridges can be built up with optimal adjusted filter medium on the solids, which will be covered by a dispersed porous loose rock pile with roughly perfect cylindrical cross section in the further process. (the pore diameters to be chosen are orientated by the input concentration. For high input concentrations the pores should be larger than the diameter of the particles. The solids parts which are holding back at the pore edge before the filter cloth are growing together as bridges and make so in ideal loose rock pile, which handicaps the further solids throughput. For low concentrated slurries fine-porous filter media below the particle spectrum are to be recommended, because otherwise the filtration capacity falls and in the case of corresponding pore diameters there is the danger of blockades. The best pore size can be provided without problem by coordination of the filter cloth characteristics and the slurry characteristics in previous filter checks with laboratory centrifuges)....
